Please read the information below before sending an e-mail.
Parents: please include the following information in your e-mail:
your name and phone number(s) so that I may reach you by phone if I cannot reach you by e-mail;
your child's current grade level and the school he/she attends; and
any additional information you deem relevant or helpful (e.g., which courses you are interested in; which standardized test(s) your child is preparing for; what his/her most recent test scores are; who referred you to me).
Students: in addition to providing the information above, please include your parent's e-mail address so that I may copy him/her on my reply message.
If you have questions about class size, course admission policy, trial classes, or private tutoring, please see my frequently asked questions page. Read testimonials from students and parents.
For lists of courses (including course descriptions, dates, and times), click here (2010-11 courses) or here (summer courses). All the courses I offer are listed on those pages.
Trial-class opportunities are listed here.
If the course schedule does not match your child's availability, please note that I do not plan to offer any additional classes on other days of the week. If you know that your child is not available on, say, Thursdays during the school year, please do not e-mail me to request more information on a Thursday course. Similarly, the list of trial classes is both comprehensive and current; do not e-mail me to inquire about different trial-class dates if the ones listed do not fit your child's schedule.
Thank you for your interest. I usually reply to e-mails within 24-48 hours; if you do not hear back from me by then, please check your spam folder in case my reply landed there. If you do not see an e-mail from me in your spam folder, feel free to contact me again, since your initial e-mail may not have reached me. Please note: sometimes I cannot reply as promptly as I would like (for instance, because of limited e-mail access while traveling). 9/7 update: I am recovering slowly from an extended bout of laryngitis and will take longer to reply to e-mails than I usually do. I appreciate your patience and understanding.
