Trial classes -- current openings
On days when a regular student is absent, I can accommodate a new student who would like to try a class or two. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in one of my upcoming courses. "Trial" students will get a sense of the content, pace, and dynamics of the class they attend. They will also gain some substantive knowledge (e.g., regarding test-taking techniques, vocabulary words, math problem-solving, and writing skills) during the two-hour class.
Below is a current list of trial-class opportunities. (I update the list whenever attendance plans change.) The cost of one trial class is the same as the per-class cost for regular students, but "trial" students do not pay any registration or materials fees. Nonrefundable payment is due before the trial class; generally, a student's place in a trial class will only be reserved once payment is received.
Students who try one or two classes do not need to buy any books; they may borrow my books during class. They should, however, bring the following basic supplies: pencils, colored pens, lined paper, a dictionary, and a digital watch. A calculator is optional for PSAT, SAT, and ACT prep classes.
To reserve your place in a trial class and to receive additional information on cost and location, e-mail me.
CORE SKILLS & SELECTIVE-ENROLLMENT PREP
